Cantaloupe, Sky Dining Troika KL - Yesterday was the launch of AirAsia Runway Ready - a new collaboration between Air Asia and KL Fashion week, aim to showcase 10 younf designers at the upcoming KLFW RTW 2015
Andrew Tan, Founder of KL Fashion Week said, "KLFW is predominantly a platform for designers that are already in the business of fashion. KLFW RTW was conceptualized in 2013 to highlight the strength and creativity of the Malaysian Fashion Industry to local and international customers. By having a partner like AirAsia, collaboraing and co-organizing the "AirAsia Runway Ready Design Search', allows us to give additional exposure to young desingers who are not yet in the business through our amazing platform that has created media visibility to more than 7million visitors"
This designer search is open to any young aspiring fashion designers with or without formal fashion training, and no older than 28 years old in 2015. Interested designers can enter by completing the registration form which can be downloaded at klfashionweek.com/airasiarunwayready and submit thier sketches. Submission deadline will be before 5pm 12 June 2015.
10 yound designers will be able to showcase their creations on the prestigious runway stage of KL Fashion Week RTW 2015 and three best designers will be revealed at the end of the search and claim the title of 'AirAsia Most Promising Designer 2015', along with other prizes which include AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search trophy, return flights to Tokyo, Sydney and Hong Kong, up to 60,000 AirAsia BIG Points eac, a chance to be part of other Fashion Weeks in the region and more!
